The annual Melbourne Night Noodle Markets are back in Melbourne – and that means food; plenty of food. On from 10-27 November 2022 at Melbourne’s Birrarung Maar, the Melbourne Night Noodle Markets bring the best food providers from Melbourne and the country and stick them right at your doorstep. Here’s what to look forward to… Mr Miyagi, Hoy Pinoy, Mazda x Bumplings, Wonderbao, Gelato Messina, Donut Papi, Flying Noodle and more, this year’s markets are promising Melbournians a feast for the tastebuds.  We’ve compiled five delicous dishes to keep an eye out for: Mr Miyagi’s Bao Burgers – bao buns just got bigger, better and more instagrammable thanks to Windsor’s own Mr Miyagi showing up at the markets! These bao burgers are available exclusively at the markets – so get in quick.  Messina’s Milo Fry Club – deliciously deep fried milo gelato in messinatella (Messina’s own take on everyone’s favourite spread) pudding, oreo crumble topped with warm messinatella. Yes – it’s that good. Mazda x Bumplings Pork & Ginger Dumplings – celebrity chef Brendan Pang’s lip-smacking dumplings filled with pork and just the right amount of ginger.  Flying Noodles –these gravity defying noodles taste even better than they look! If previous years have been anything to go by, the Sydney Night Noodle Markets – much like the Melbourne Night Noodle Markets – are going to turn it on for food lovers. As always, in Hyde Park from 4-21 October it makes one of the biggest events of Sydney Good Food Month.  Complete with forty sizzling hawker-style stalls showcasing Asia’s best cooking techniques and flavours, the Night Noodle Markets will turn it on with the likes of Mr. Bao, Chat Thai, Mr Miyagi and Wonderbao (both coming to Sydney from Melbourne for the first time), Chur Burger, Donut Papi, Gelato Messina and Black Star Pastry. And here’re the best hawkers to get your fill from for the whole three weeks: For a taste of Thailand: Khanom Jeen Nahm Ya at Chat Thai – A favourite amongst Sydney chefs, Chat Thai’s fermented rice noodles with coconut curry and fish dumplings is a classic not to be missed. Just after Melbourne was treated to its own Good Food Month Melbourne, and Canberra celebrated Good Food Month Canberra, at last it’s Sydney’s turn with the return for the 20th year, of Good Food Month Sydney! As usual, along with Citi, the city of Sydney will celebrate 20 years of unforgettable food events this October. The flavour-packed, talent-filled program shines a light on the influential chefs and restaurants that have helped shape Australia’s culinary landscape and the talent that will define its bright and exciting future. This year, they’re taking a retrospective look at how the local and international dining scene has developed over the last 20 years, celebrating the chefs, dishes and restaurants that paved the way and stood the test of time. Hyde Park Palms is a returning pop-up restaurant often associated with Good Food Month Sydney and can be found in the heart of Hyde Park North from 4-21 October. It’s a custom-made Palm Springs-inspired restaurant will play host to conversations with Australian culinary masters Neil Perry, Bill Granger, Christine Manfield, Stephanie Alexander and Ross Lusted.
