Sydney spirits enthusiasts, mark your calendars. From 11–13 July, the much-anticipated Sydney Spirits Festival is making its grand return to the iconic Overseas Passenger Terminal at Circular Quay.
After a sold-out debut in 2024 and international nods as a finalist for Best International Event at the London Spirits Awards, this year’s festival is set to be even bigger and bolder.
There’s a new event for whiskey lovers you don’t want to miss.
Over three days and five exciting sessions, visitors will be transported into a world of exceptional flavour and craftsmanship. With hundreds of labels on offer, there’s something for everyone—from smooth single malts and botanical gins to quirky finds like peanut butter whisky, rare vermouths, and smoky mezcals. Unlimited tastings are included with your ticket, so you can sip your way around the room and even grab a bottle of your favourites to take home.
A Stellar Line-Up of Spirits Legends
This year, Aussie icons and international giants of the spirit world are coming together at Sydney Harbour. Whisky legend Bill Lark, often hailed as the godfather of Australian whisky, will guide guests through intimate Single Malt Whisky Masterclasses paired with Tasmanian cheese. Meanwhile, Sydney favourite Mikey Enright is bringing an exclusive Oyster Shell Gin Masterclass (complete with fresh oyster pairings, of course). And for cocktail aficionados, Felix Clark of Ester Spirits promises plenty of hands-on fun with his “Riffs on the Classics” session.
There’s a monthly whiskey club night on for drinkers in Brisbane to catch up on.
That’s not all. Don’t miss the drop-in sessions at the free Taste Theatre, where the International Spirits Academy will be dishing out top-tier mixology tips and guided tastings.
Spirits, Spectacular Views, and a Feast to Match
What pairs perfectly with drinks? Food, of course. Get ready to enjoy a curated selection of delicious bites perfectly matched with festival spirits. Think tacos and tequila, fresh pasta with whisky, or classic vodka and caviar pairings under the sparkling Sydney skyline. Need a breather? Head to the outdoor Schibello Café for a coffee break or a cheeky cannoli as you take in the breathtaking views.
Real McCoy? It really is the real McCoy! Definitely worth a drink.
