Dinner in Sydney with LOAM X Two Good Chefs

Sydney-based social enterprise Two Good Co announces award-winning chef and cookbook author Danielle Alvarez as the third chef in its LOAM X Two Good Chef Dinner Series. The event will take place on Wednesday 3 July at LOAM, the all-day restaurant located at Ace Hotel Sydney. Tickets to the dinner with Danielle Alvarez are $110 per person including a multi-course menu designed by Danielle, wines by Balmy Nights, and a donation to help Two Good continue their mission to support, empower and employ women rebuilding their self-worth and independence following domestic violence, homelessness and complex trauma. Danielle Alvarez says, “I wanted to write a menu that felt comforting and delicious, but also communal. To me, that’s something that Two Good provides to women in need through the food they sell and their programs. I’m so proud to be supporting this incredible organisation by doing what I love, which is feeding people.” This will mark the third event in the quarterly Chef Dinner Series, which debuted in October 2023 to mark the release of Two Good’s third cookbook, Change The Course, and continues to honour the book’s central theme of ‘do more with less’, with each new iteration. Train travel will never be the same again: in an Australian first, Vivid Sydney today announced Tekno Train by Paul Mac, a one-of-a-kind event that will transform a Sydney Trains service into a moving, sensory sound and light experience for 23 nights only. Exclusive to Vivid Sydney, the Southern Hemisphere’s leading multi-artform festival, and in collaboration with Sydney Trains, Tekno Train by Paul Mac is set to radically reinvent the experience of train travel as a thrilling musical adventure for a limited time only. Passengers will be treated to an original techno soundtrack composed by Paul Mac especially for the Tekno Train, accompanied by immersive custom lighting that will illuminate the interior of all carriages. As the train moves, the lights and music will rhythmically adjust to match the train’s speed and changing landscape outside, crafting a melodic and unforgettable ride through both Sydney’s city circle and disused train lines. This week marks the launch of “A New Normal,” an exhibition that will bring together more than fifty of Sydney’s most ambitious designers, architects, developers, technologists, brands, and architects to present innovative solutions to some of the city’s most persistent challenges.
