Get your sequins ready and your pre-registration sorted, because this summer is about to bring one of the biggest events the Royal Sandringham Estate has seen!
On Thursday, 14 August 2025, the iconic Pet Shop Boys are bringing their spectacular Dreamworld: The Greatest Hits Live tour to Norfolk, joined by none other than the reunited Scissor Sisters as their special guests. It’s basically a pop lover’s dream with a backdrop that’s fit for royalty.
Pet Shop Boys: Legendary Duo Under the Spotlight
Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe, also known as the Pet Shop Boys, aren’t just casually brilliant. They’ve been officially labelled the most successful duo in UK music history by The Guinness Book of Records (as if we needed confirmation). These legends have given us 44 Top 30 singles in the UK, including bangers like West End Girls and It’s a Sin. Oh, and if you’re counting No.1s, they’ve got four of those tucked under their hats too.
Their Dreamworld tour has been a smash hit since it launched in Milan in 2022, with critics swooning over the shows, describing them as “an utterly joyous celebration” and “a life-affirming, soul-reviving joy of a show.” This is a duo who know how to serve up theatrical brilliance, collaborating over the years with some of the most creative minds around, from architect Zaha Hadid to theatre designer Es Devlin. It’s pop, but make it art.
Not only is this show bursting with their greatest hits (and honestly, there’s a lot to choose from), but for a few extra sprinkles of magic, here come the Scissor Sisters to steal some of the limelight too.
Scissor Sisters return to the stage
After more than a decade away, New York’s finest are back! Scissor Sisters are reuniting to mark the 20th anniversary of their self-titled debut album, which, by the way, was the best-selling album in the UK in 2004. Selling over 3 million copies globally, it didn’t just break records; it smashed all expectations, rocketing to 9x Platinum in the UK alone. It landed them three BRIT Awards in the process, making them the first act to clear the board in all three international categories.
On stage, Jake Shears, Babydaddy, and Del Marquis bring their signature razzle-dazzle energy, blending flamboyant showmanship with some of the most unforgettable tracks in queer pop culture. Get ready for Take Your Mama, Comfortably Numb, and I Don’t Feel Like Dancin’. (Resisting a boogie will be pretty much impossible.)
How to get a ticket
Right, listen up. This is one of those events you don’t want to leave to chance. To stand a shot at securing your spot for what’s bound to be a sell-out gig, here’s the lowdown:
- Pre-sale access starts at 9am on Wednesday, 26 March. But here’s the catch – you’ve got to pre-register first! Make sure you sign up via this link.
- If you like living on the edge, general sale kicks off at 9am on Friday, 28 March via AXS.
Festival fit for Royalty
The Sandringham Estate is pulling out all the stops for their 2025 summer concert series. This show is just one of four huge events set to take place from 14 to 17 August, with Mariah Carey headlining on Friday, Stereophonics on Saturday, and none other than Michael Bublé wrapping things up on Sunday in his only UK show of 2025.
Giles Cooper OBE of Heritage Live Festivals summed up the excitement, saying, “Having the legendary Pet Shop Boys perform on the Royal Estate is an absolute dream come true.” And with Scissor Sisters on the same bill? It’s the kind of one-night extravaganza we’ll be reminiscing about for decades.
For those planning to truly make a trip of it, gates open at 2pm each day, giving you ample time to enjoy food and drinks from artisan traders in the picture-perfect setting of Sandringham. Fancy camping out? There’s deluxe glamping on offer, so you don’t have to rough it. VIP packages include guided tours of Sandringham House and even a posh picnic in the gardens.
Don’t miss out
Whether you want to relive the 80s synth-pop glory days with Pet Shop Boys or tap into that flamboyant, fabulous energy courtesy of Scissor Sisters, this is one show you don’t want to miss. Sign up, get your tickets sorted, and prepare for the summer’s most glittering night under the stars. August can’t come soon enough!
