A unique fusion of whiskey and art in Sydney

In a celebration of creativity and philanthropy, Glenfiddich, the world’s most awarded single malt Scotch whisky, joins forces with the illustrious Australian multidisciplinary artist, Jordan Gogos, to bring an extraordinary experience to the heart of Sydney. The ‘Glenfiddich x Jordan Gogos Pop-Up Bar’, is an initiative set to enchant Sydneysiders from 17th April to 8th May, 2024. This groundbreaking exhibition, hosted by the social enterprise ART AID, will take place at 200 George Street, weaving a rich tapestry of art and whisky in one of Sydney’s most acclaimed bars, Dean & Nancy on 22.

This vibrant collaboration invites guests to immerse themselves in a world where art meets whisky, surrounded by colourful textile art, sculptural furniture, and never-before-seen artworks by Jordan Gogos. The pop-up bar is more than just a venue; it’s an immersive art installation that redefines the boundary between gallery space and sensory experience, offering a selection of unseen works from Gogos’s diverse collection, including art, furniture, and fashion. Inspired by the iconic colourways of Glenfiddich’s aged whisky expressions, the exhibition showcases artworks that reinterpret the essence of the brand through Gogos’ unique lens of sustainability and artistry.

The pop-up bar will feature a series of special experiences and events across three weeks, with tickets available for purchase on Eventbrite. Highlights include the Glenfiddich Trailblazer Party, featuring whisky cocktails and a unique opportunity to groove inside an artwork, and Glenfiddich Whisky Master Classes, where attendees can deepen their appreciation for single malt Scotch whisky under the guidance of Brand Ambassador Ross Blainey. Additionally, the ‘Glenfiddich and Jordan Gogos on Creative Collaborations’ event offers an intimate whisky tasting session, exploring the dynamic relationship between Glenfiddich and Gogos.

ART AID, a roaming contemporary art space committed to supporting not-for-profits and charities, will benefit from the event, with $10 from every Glenfiddich cocktail and event ticket sold being donated to its cause. Furthermore, a selection of Jordan Gogos’ art pieces will be available for purchase, with 50% of proceeds directly supporting the charity.

This event is more than just an exhibition; it’s a fusion of artistic brilliance and community support, reflecting Glenfiddich’s commitment to pushing the boundaries of traditional whisky experiences and Jordan Gogos’ innovative artistry. The ‘Glenfiddich x Jordan Gogos Pop-Up Bar’ is set to be the largest and most immersive art installation by Jordan Gogos to date, inviting attendees not just to view but interact with and become part of the installation. Don’t miss this unique combination of creativity, community, and craftsmanship, marking a new chapter in Sydney’s vibrant cultural scene.
