We have great news, Pyrmont Festival is returning to Sydney on May 6-7 for another flavour-filled year! With an amazing line up of mouth-watering food, plenty of wine tastings, and maximum entertainment, the festival is held against the stunning backdrop of Sydney Harbour and is family and dog friendly.

Pyrmont Festival Director Alex Gibbs is thrilled to bring the Festival back, bigger and better than ever before. “In 2023 we are showcasing the incredible talent of winemakers, brewers, distillers, and food vendors from across the wider NSW region,” he said, “Get ready to sip and savor as Pyrmont Festival 2023 showcases an unprecedented 15 wineries and Wine Selectors, including the renowned Peterson House. The Festival will put wineries from Mudgee, the Hunter Valley and Orange in the spotlight, highlighting the best of NSW’s unrivaled wine-making culture. But that’s not all! Beer lovers and gin lovers will also be in for a treat, as the festival features the best local Sydney breweries with Willie the Boatman, The Grifter Brewing Co and Yulli’s Brews bringing their Froth Whitlams and Oprah Tinfreys along for the ride. As well as Byron Bay based distiller Brookie’s Byron Gin joining the selection.”

Gibbs also gave his recommendations for must-try seafood, something the festival is famous for, “If you’re a seafood lover, don’t miss out on the freshly shucked oysters and prawns from the Sydney Fish Market brought by Cheeky Naked Oysters to Pirrama Park as well as it’s famous Japanese Aburi Bar, serving up delicious blow-torched cheesy scallops.”

If you can’t make the festival weekend on May 6-7, fear not, because there is a range of special events taking place across Pyrmont until 31 May, so you have ample opportunity to discover the best culinary delights NSW has to offer.
