Get excited for the new Lotus Dumpling Bar at Summer Hill

Lotus Dumpling Bar in Summer Hill

Sydney’s inner west has a new venue opening on 25 May 2022 and this one is worth getting excited about. The Lotus Dining Group – which already runs six restaurants across Sydney including Lotus Barangaroo and Lotus Galeries – is opening their latest venue in Lackey Street, Summer Hill.

Despite being the new kid on the block, it feels like the new venue is among old friends. Located in the heart of Summer Hill, just across the road from the village square – otherwise known as The Piazza, which comes alive in the evenings with live music where locals can be seen dancing – the atmosphere is relaxed and friendly.

“We’re excited to bring our dumpling bar offering to Summer Hill,” says Wu. “Over the last
few years, we’ve seen a big shift in diners choosing to stay local so we wanted to share our
Walsh Bay concept with a brand new neighbourhood within Sydney. The new menu has
everything people will know and love about Lotus Dumpling Bar – it’s casual, easy to share
and full of flavour!”

The Summer Hill Sour Cocktail

Beverage Manager Matthew Stewart has worked tirelessly to create a signature cocktail for the new venue called Summer Hill Sour and there’s no doubt about it – it’s going to be a crowd favourite. Made with Bombay Sapphire, lemon myrtle, lemon, grenache and riesling foam, this beautiful creation will have you coming back just for the cocktails, let alone the mouth-watering Cantonese-inspired menu.

There is also a long list of local beers and wines available to accompany the menu selection which also includes vegetarian and vegan options.
