Sydney’s Streets of Barangaroo launches Festival of Food this October

Hold onto your taste buds, folks, because this October, Sydney’s buzzing Barangaroo precinct is set to sizzle with the inaugural Festival of Food at The Streets of Barangaroo. This fresh celebration promises a mouth-watering mix of culinary collaborations, immersive experiences, and vibrant entertainment, offering a feast for every palate.

This festival not only highlights the delectable dining scene but also marks the launch of the new metro line, making it easier than ever to dive into Barangaroo’s dynamic precinct.   • Rek?do x Levins feat. Mitch Orr: For one nostalgic night on October 18, get whisked back to the iconic days of The Dip with chef and DJ Andrew Levins and culinary whiz Mitch Orr. Expect an epic four-course menu with Rivareno Gelato’s luscious cookies and cream dessert. Don’t miss LEVINSHOP, a pop-up treasure trove of books, films, and vinyl records open all month. Tickets are $149 and include beverages.
  • Part & Parcel: On October 10, Lotus Barangaroo, Born by Tapavino, and Oh Boo Chocolates join forces for a whimsical yum-cha adventure. Dig into a global medley of dumplings, empanadas, and more, all while grooving to DJ Andrew Levins’ beats. Tickets are $109 and come with a ‘fun cha’ menu and drinks.
  • Anason x Firepop x Brian Cole: Gear up for a fiery feast on October 13 as culinary stars Arman Uz, Raymond Hou, and Brian Cole craft a cross-cultural dining experience.   • Smoke on the Water: Warm up with whisky at NOLA Smokehouse & Bar on October 25. This event celebrates the smoky nuances of whisky, matched with a tantalizing four-course menu. Tickets are $180 with paired whiskies.
  • Spring In The Streets: Every Friday in October, kick back with live music along Barangaroo Avenue. With acts like Ella Haber and Mi-kaisha, it’s your perfect end-of-week wind-down.
  • Bar Hop Barangaroo: Throughout October, explore Barangaroo’s rich bar scene, from bottomless brunches to late-night DJs and everything in between.
