Melbourne comes to life on a New Years’ Eve and New Years’ Day with a wide range of parties, events, and follow-up sessions to choose from.
Here’s a round up of some NYE and NYD options that took our fancy…

The party will kick off with two hours of free drinks & gourmet canapés from 4pm – 6pm along with early rooftop access. DJs will play tunes on all three levels from 4pm with the local line-up keeping the party alive until 1am. Where to go this New Years’ Eve and New Years’ Day in Sydney
Sydney’s got options, too, though.
With the lights or pubs, restaurants and fireworks reflecting off the Harbour’s still summertime water, it provides some of the most top-shelf New Years’ options the country has to offer. Here are some to consider.
Pier One Sydney Harbour
Enjoy the luxury of staying right amongst the NYE celebrations at Pier One Sydney Harbour. Located directly on the water over a dedicated wharf in Sydney’s historic Rocks precinct, the luxury hotel lets you escape the crowds, gather up to 10 friends and party in celebrity style right under Sydney’s world-famous New Year’s Eve fireworks extravaganza.

(Note: 2 night minimum stay, additional guests in the suites can stay until 1am)
