Cointreau in a donut is a thing thanks to Donut Papi

Cointreau x Donut Papi collab

Lovers of Cointreau and donuts, listen up!  Cointreau and Donut Papi have joined forces to create two exclusive donut flavours inspired by the signature orange flavours of Cointreau. As an ode to Cointreau and Australia’s love of Margaritas, the two flavours of donuts on offer include the Original Cointreau Margarita Donut, which features a plain donut with an orange glaze icing and pipette with Cointreau in it, as well as the Coconut Ginger Margarita Donut, a ginger glazed donut with coconut flakes with a pipette filled with Cointreau.  And because Father’s Day is just around the corner, this is the perfect gift for those dads and father figures with a sweet tooth and a soft spot for that delicious orange liqueur.  These delectable donuts will be available at Donut Papi located in Redfern from 1 August until 10 September 2022. You can also order online and have a gift pack delivered straight to dad, ensuring you are the favourite child on the day. The donuts will be sold individually for $8 but will also be available for purchase as a gift pack of nine donuts for $63.  And if you want to spoil dad with a Cointreau-based cocktail on the day, click here for inspo.

Cointreau turns 170 and throws a worldwide party

Cointreau bottle 4

In addition to throwing global celebrations around the world, Cointreau have made a brand-spanking-new bottle for autumn ’19, made in collab with a guy called Vincent Darre. He’s a French interior designer that epitomises chic creativity and mixes style and eras with unique elegance. He’s adorned the bottles with three original designs, bringing the story of Maison Cointreau, the duality of its orange liqueur, and memorable cocktail moments to life.  What’s on around town? Kicking off the celebrations, Le Cointreau Cocktail Show will head to Paris and take up residence at the prestigious Pavillion Elysee from June 13-16, putting a spotlight on the classics that have played a key role in Cointreau’s proud history. They’ve also created a four-part showcase around its most legendary cocktails: the Sidecar, the Margarita, the Cointreau Fizz, and the Cosmopolitan, which will be brought to life across the globe through eye-catching activations.  See more at the Cointreau website.
