Back when the Chocolatory first opened, people panicked. And in the spirit of keeping things interesting, KitKat has now teamed-up with Melbourne locals, the Melbourne Gin Company, to create something sure to do the same again.
From November 15, KitKat Chocolatory is infusing the wafer bar with gin for Christmas. Because, you need grog to get through it, to be honest.
The ginny KitKat comes in two limited flavours for hardcore enthusiasts, developed in partnership with the Melbourne Gin Company. They incorporate Australian native botanicals paired with deliciousness like caramelised macadamia nut and juniper berries or candied citrus and rosemary.
It’s a smooth, but bitey take on the traditional KitKat, but one that Melbourne Gin Company founder and master distiller Andrew Marks said pays homage to London Dry Gin and its classic ingredients like citrus, coriander seeds and rosemary, paired with Australian Native botanicals for a Melbourne twist.
