Perth has a Mediterranean climate, which means it’s warm and sunny most days of the year.
- Perth has great public transportation – Public transportation in Perth is easy and convenient. You can get around by metro train, bus or taxi. The Metro Train system runs throughout the city, with trains arriving every 10 minutes at most stations between 6 am and midnight every day of the week. The bus system is reliable and inexpensive, with fares ranging from $2 to $3 depending on the distance travelled and time of day. Most buses run from 6:30 am until well after 11 pm on weekdays and weekends, so you don’t have to worry about missing your connection!
