Reopening on October 1, 2024
Le Tikehau by Pearl Resorts is set to welcome travellers starting October 1, 2024, following extensive renovations. The refreshed resort will feature air conditioning and Wi-Fi in all accommodations whilst maintaining its unique “Robinson” charm. Guests can anticipate delightful surprises in line with the “Pearl Resorts” ethos while enjoying the pristine pink sand beaches, stunning lagoon, Bird Island, and the warm hospitality of the hotel’s team members.
Opening in August 2024
The new Westin Bora Bora Resort & Spa will open its doors in August 2024 on the former Le Meridien property. Grand Opening on July 1, 2024
The Maitai Express Tahiti will open on July 1, 2024, located across the recently renovated cruise terminal. It features 63 brand-new rooms inspired by Polynesian décor. The hotel offers a 24-hour reception, excursion reservation desk, breakfast room, luggage storage, free Wi-Fi, and parking. This addition brings the total to four hotels in the Maitai group in French Polynesia with its existing properties in Bora Bora, Rangiroa, and Huahine.
Motu Fara, a privatised island resort in Rangiroa, features two luxurious villas renovated in 2023 with a maximum capacity of 14 people. This exclusive getaway, located an hour’s flight from Tahiti and a two-minute boat ride from the village, offers spectacular views and bespoke dining experiences. Motu Fara inaugurated its new restaurant and bar on May 1, 2024, offering a refined culinary experience with breathtaking views of the Avatoru Pass, available to the public when the resort is not fully booked.

The Brando has recorded a remarkable turtle nesting season with over 1,400 tracks and more than 220 on Onetahi alone, resulting in the identification of over 75 females and the hatching of 30,000 live newborns.
