Winter may be knocking on your door, but ST. ALi in South Melbourne is here to answer with a steaming hot new menu that’s set to melt the winter blues away. Picture this: an all-day roast, creative breakfast options, and signature drinks so good they’ll make you forget the cold.

Let’s start with breakfast because who doesn’t love a morning feast? ST. ALi has rolled out some lip-smacking new dishes. Imagine a Hummus Breakfast that’s like a holiday in the Mediterranean with a poached egg, parsley pesto, crispy chickpeas, curry leaves, ST. ALi chilli oil, and focaccia. Or how about the Tokyo Omelette, featuring smoked eel, pickled enoki mushrooms, nori, and bonito flake butter? And for those craving a bit of nostalgia, there’s the ST. ALi Bubble and Squeak, served with pin sausage, fried egg, braised mirepoix, and potato mousse. Yes, it’s as good as it sounds.

And lunch? You’re in for a treat. The star of the show is the Everyday Roast, which comes with Yorkshire pudding and all the trimmings. At $39, or $45 if you’re in the mood for a wine or beer pairing, it’s a steal. Got a crew of six? You can pre-order a whole roast with table service—because why not feel like royalty for a day?

Vegetarians and vegans, don’t think we’ve forgotten you. Feast on the Steamed Silken Tofu with a dark shiitake vinegar dressing and spring onion, or the Eggplant Schnitzel with a spiced tomato sauce that’ll make you forget meat ever existed.

Now let’s talk drinks because Head Barista Alex Wang has outdone himself. The Pumpkin Spice is a winter must-try, featuring ST. ALi’s new winter espresso blend and house-made spiced caramel syrup. If you’re keen on something cooler, the Winter Freddo combines Fixx and Fogg peanut butter, ST. ALi chocolate, cold milk, cold foam, and shaving chocolate.

Feeling a bit adventurous? The Cigarettes Daydream cocktail is your ticket to flavor town with Espolon Tequila Blanco infused with cinnamon sticks, sherry, ST. ALi coffee liqueur, white creme de cacao, Turkish tobacco bitters, and orange bitters. Trust us, you need this in your life.

“Our goal is to always offer a menu that not only satisfies and excites but also provides great value. We’ve incorporated a mix of classic comfort foods and contemporary flavours this winter to ensure there’s something for everyone. In the Everyday Roast, in particular, we’re leaning into the nostalgia of comfort food every day of the week,” says Executive Chef Greg McFarland.

ST. ALi’s new South Melbourne menu is available 365 days a year from 7 am – 3 pm Monday to Friday and 7 am – 4 pm on weekends. So, gather your mates or drag your co-workers down to ST. ALi and let the good times—and great food—roll.
