South Eveleigh is set to come alive this winter with the launch of its inaugural Loco Markets, a vibrant six-week program running from Thursday 19 June to Sunday 27 July 2025.

Inspired by the festive charm of European street markets, the Loco Markets will celebrate creativity, community, and connection through a rotating schedule of themed markets, exclusive heritage tours, and engaging workshops.

A Market Like No Other

The Loco Markets will transform South Eveleigh into a colorful hub of activity, featuring bold, block-colored stalls, live entertainment, and a dynamic lineup of handmade goods, design-led retail, food, and drink. Each week introduces a new theme, offering visitors fresh experiences and reasons to return throughout the season.

Family-friendly activities will also take center stage, with face painting, soft play zones, and creative workshops for kids running every weekend.

Michael Carabetta, Portfolio Manager at Mirvac, shared the vision behind the event:

“We wanted to create an event that invites people to slow down, explore, and connect. The Loco Markets will offer everything from artisanal products to fresh produce and even Christmas in July festivities. It’s about building a sense of community while supporting local creatives and small businesses.”
