Fashion Palette Sydney

Sydney’s Fashion Palette this year entitled ‘The Art of Fashion’ showcased thirteen of Australia’s most renowned independent and emerging designers, in the areas of ready-to-wear, accessories, swimwear and bridal. Designers included Leona Edmiston, Thomas Lazar, Elle Zeitoune, House of Ianni, Roxcii, Wild Pony and more.

The leading Fashion Palette runway presents fashion as an art-form in itself, showcasing the parallels between art and designs as they comes down the runway.

The captivating show displayed an assortment of collections, presenting the diversity in Australia’s unique fashion market. The show was opened by Nicola Finetti, who presented strikingly feminine silhouettes in block colours. The collection embodied a lovely combination of strength and elegance.

A show standout was milliner, Viktoria Novak, whose collection displayed beautifully detailed and delicate headpieces complimented by seductive black leotards.

Brightly coloured and playful swimwear was presented by Aqua Blu, as well as stylish tailoring and sometimes revealing menswear by LAB Homme.

The incredible show-stopping bridal couture dress by Alin Le’ Kal for the show’s finale featured meticulous embellishments and an amazing trail, which was entirely deserving of the crowd’s astounded applause as the dress came down the runway. The dress was a perfect way to wrap up an amazing show.
