Hendricks gin has some new cocktail recipes to try

Love is in the air, because of not only Valentine’s Day, but happy Mardi Gras-fuelled joyousness the city of Sydney-over, so, the legends that are Hendricks gin have decided to help out.

By concocting three new drinks for us this tail end of summer, we can see out the festive season and welcome-in a more placid time of year, fuelled entirely by alcohol. The way god ordered.

Their Valentine’s Day ‘woocumber’ pack was everything you needed to keep the good times going in-one, and to celebrate, here’s how you could use it, or any bottle of Hendricks to do the same.


  • 20ml Hendrick’s Gin
  • 5 fresh raspberries
  • 5ml rose syrup
  • Topped with champagne


  1. Shake Gin, raspberries and cordial
  2. Fine strain into flute
  3. Layer Champagne on top
  4. Garnish with cucumber stick, rose petal and floating raspberry

Woocoction Two: Orchard Kiss

This creation revels in apple, an ancient symbol of love that relates back to the Greek God Dionysus who offered apples to win the Goddess Aphrodite’s love. In ye-olde times if you caught an apple thrown by your suitor, you were accepting that gesture and expressing your own passion towards them.

To perfectly compliment the unusual Rose flavour of Hendrick’s, why not pair it with a delicate, sumptuous, and flawlessly sweetened treat such as Turkish Delight.


  • 45ml Hendrick’s Gin
  • 15ml Lemon Juice
  • Dash of vanilla extract
  • Topped with cloudy apple juice


  1. Add all ingredients to tall glass over ice
  2. Stir briefly
  3. Garnish with cucumber slice and rose petal

Woocoction Three: Cupids’ Arrow

This concoction highlights White Cacao, an ingredient that embraces the power of femininity and fertility in many of the world’s most beautifully connected cultures. As Cacao is the main ingredient in chocolate, this will satisfy every sweet tooth’s tastebuds.

This indulgent blend is a match made in heaven with salty foods, particularly luxurious caviar.


  • 30ml Hendrick’s Gin
  • 20ml Lemon Juice
  • 10ml White Cacao
  • Cucumber slices
  • Rose petals
  • Sparkling Water


  1. Pour all ingredients except sparkling in to glass – add 4 cucumber slices and some rose petals
  2. Stir briefly
  3. Fill glass with ice
  4. Top with Soda water
  5. Garnish with a cucumber slice and rose petal
