Can’t get to LA? California Burgers on Chapel Street is the next best thing

For foodies who have been fortunate enough to travel to LA, you know that the first meal will usually be something typically American and fried like a burger and fries.

For those who are yet to travel to LA for either, look no further than Chapel St’s very own California Burgers for the hit you’re looking for of burger goodness.

California Burgees is not your usual ‘hole-in-the-wall’ burger joint, but rather something you would only see in LA. In Melbourne.

The menu is simple and uncomplicated, serving fresh and minimal ingredients, but of a decent quality.

Each burger is named after a location in LA, with ingredients used that reflect that area too. Of course, no American burger joint would be complete without an Insta-worthy burger, and California Burgers is no exception.

The joint’s ‘Muscle Beach Burger’ – named after ‘Muscle Beach’ on Venice Beach on California’s west coast, isstacked high with 4 beef patties, 4 slices of cheese, all the usual toppings and so much love.

Just like a lot of burger joints in LA, here is the little twist – there are Greek items on the menu! Not only can you get a meat souvlaki either in the bread or on an open plate but you can also get sides like spanakopita or a huge favourite, saganaki. There are even talks of some crazy desserts in the works too.

The best part is California Burgers serves well into the night, up until the wee hours of the morning, fulfilling every late night craving ever had after a big night out. Who needs a kebab, anyway?

And if you can’t make it to their shop in Windsor, have no fear because you can find them on Uber Eats, too.
