British Airways is puring £6.5bn investment into its first class,
The new look and feel is gonna starts from March 31 and will include new bedding, amenities and menus that would not look out of place in a revered five-star British hotel.
Those who can afford the upper end of the BA tickets will score new male and female loungewear designed by Temperley London. On top of amenities bags, products from British skincare brand ELEMIS and products from their ULTRA SMART PRO-COLLAGEN range, BA basically covers the whole thing off.
Add onto this, a new menu by BA chefs in an A La Carte menu that focus on fresh seasonal ingredients of British provenance. The new menus will be served on elegant bone china crockery, designed exclusively for the airline by high-end British tableware designer William Edwards. The new tableware will be accompanied by contemporary cutlery from Studio William.
And would it be British Airways if they didn’t do afternoon tea? They’ll be introducing the great British tradition of high tea with a selection sandwiches, delicate pastries and scones, as well as a wide range of tea infusions.
It’s a bit cute, very British and hugely a must-try. Start saving those pennies for the next time you fly British Airways.
