In 2024, AI isn’t just a buzzword—it’s transforming the way we use our tech, and the new Acer Swift Go 14 laptop is leading the charge. While many of us know about ChatGPT, the real magic happens when AI becomes an integral part of our everyday devices.

AI curiosity is surging, and not just from your olds Googling what it is. Google Search data showing a 50% increase in AI-related queries from Australians over the past year. Riding this wave, Acer, those savvy global tech innovators committed to breaking AI barriers, have introduced a lineup of devices equipped with the Windows 11 CoPilot key—a direct gateway to AI-powered creativity and productivity at the touch of a button.

We gave the Acer Swift Go 14 a test run and safe to say it was a game-changing experience for creative work. The AcerSense™ allowed us to experiment creatively, we especially loved the Acer LiveArt for thos finnicky design tasks where you just wish you could tell your computer “hey just delete that background so I can pop that logo on top of here”. It was all at the click of a button instead of having to open a suite of programs and save multiple files. While not an everyday use for us, the Acer AlterView was really fun to play with and we made some holiday snaps into funky live backgrounds that may haunt the better half, but gave us a giggle. As a writer, we think the joy for us lay in using text commands. The GIMP plugin allowed, literally within minutes, new illustrations with simple text commands, and add on tweaking. It’s the perfect tool for quick, stunning graphics that only lived in your head until then.

Besides the AI features, it was a sleek, user friendly laptop with enough power to even stream games on. There was zero lag, although gaming chews through the battery so keep it plugged in, and we really enjoyed having access to to the Microsoft suite across all areas. It’s really giving the Apple interface and connectedness a run for it’s money!

The Windows 11 CoPilot key is available on Acer‘s AI-enhanced PCs in Australia, with more models expected to launch later in 2024. We don’t know about you but we’re definitely ready to elevate our work, study, and creative projects with the power of AI!
