Big Top Affair: a spectacular circus-themed brunch in Melbourne
Calling all foodies and fun-seekers! State of Grace in Melbourne’s CBD has introduced a spectacular new experience, the Big Top Affair. This circus-themed rooftop activation will shake up your winter weekends with an explosion of flavours, sights, and sounds. Starting from today, every Saturday will see magic collide with mischief at this one-of-a-kind, bottomless brunch event.
Amidst the lively circus atmosphere, guests will partake in two-hour sessions (12pm and 3pm). On offer is a tantalising menu featuring six decadent dishes, each inspired by the Fairground. Indulge in a Smoked Mozza Dog with a twist of persimmon and fruity ketchup, a Chicken Doughnut complete with pickles and fruity BBQ or a Loaded Pretzel topped with Ora King salmon and caviar. Don’t miss out on the Big Top Dog adorned with pickled fennel and mustard. The sweet-toothed among us can savour the Blackberry Pie with custard and basil, and the Marshmellow dusted with powdered sugar. And as the cherry on top, a free-flowing popcorn machine will keep your snack cravings satisfied throughout the event.
But the joy doesn’t end with feasting! A plethora of bottomless vodka sodas in teapots await, ready to be infused with our array of specialty syrups. Take your pick from The Magician with butterfly pea syrup, The Ringmaster featuring pineapple and brown sugar, The Bearded Lady showcasing strawberry and rosemary, or The Acrobat with a kick of passionfruit and chilli. And of course, there’s plenty of sparkling, wine, and beer to go around.
