Couple toasting with wine in cafe

Want to learn about wine? There’s only one place to go in Sydney

Wine is one of those tricky elements of life that defines people: you either know wine, or you don’t and pretend you do. We all fall into one category, and whether you own it or not, normally it’s the latter.

However, this year (thank god), The Streets of Barangaroo in Sydney’s latest billion-dollar building development right near Darling Harbour have an offering that the budding wine lover, or big-time wannabe probably can’t skip.

The Streets of Barangaroo is hosting two wine tours on Saturday 8 April. The first tour is designed for wine enthusiasts who don’t know a pinot from a merlot. The second is for wine connoisseurs who already know the ins and outs of tannins and decantation. Guests drink wine and enjoy nibbles at four different venues around The Streets. Sydney’s best sommeliers and wine experts will share knowledge on their favourite wines.

Good idea!
