Coco Como

Where to watch a movie about the story of Coco Chanel

Following the wildly successful Dior exhibition at NGV this spring, Melburnians continue to be treated to an abundance of fashion archival riches with Coco at Como: Mademoiselle’s Life Story.

Francophiles and fashionistas alike gathered at Como House on Thursday evening for the opening of Paris to Provence: Festival Franc?ais de Melbourne 2017, presented by Mercedes-Benz Toorak and featuring an exclusive preview of Coco at Como.

The Boudoir, Grand Ballroom and Billiards Room of sumptuous Como House form the perfect setting for this collaboration with Madam Virtue & Co,, and Anton Venoir Interiors , who have provided iconic Chanel haute couture and French antique furniture to illustrate Mademoiselle Chanel’s life and work that made an inimitable mark on style worldwide.

The exhibition is the perfect match to Paris to Provence, a French pop-up village hosting the best French food and wine in Melbourne.

Enjoy cooking demonstrations, activities for les enfants and French films courtesy of Palace Cinemas.

Don your pearls and your favourite chapeau, and don’t miss this fabulous day out celebrating all that is great about French fashion and cuisine this weekend.
