Melbourne Cup Day at a Keystone venue! Because why not? There’s a range of 3- and 4-course food and beverage options available, plus taking part in sweepstakes is a must to compete for fashion prizes at any of their venues while you watch the race live on the big screen.
Here’s what’s planned…
Whether you’re looking to celebrate “the race that stops a nation” at a wine bar, club or restaurant, Keystone has the perfect location. If you prefer a leisurely sit-down meal on Cup Day, Gazebo is ready to please with a 4-course set menu and a flute of Ruinart on arrival from $115pp. Soak in the beautiful rays that bathe the Elizabeth Bay wine garden as you indulge in wagyu brescaola for entrée and Angus sirloin or barramundi for main.
Take it to the northern beaches and celebrate a fresh and tasty menu inspired by the coast at Manly Wine. Enjoy a glass of Mumm Rosé on arrival and feast on a mouth-watering 4-course menu for just $110pp, which includes slabs to share (think crispy pea, mint & ricotta rice balls, sake & ponzu cured salmon, or roast haloumi with sweet & sour eggplant, toasted almonds) and big plates (like charred beef eye fillet or garlic & chilli prawn and mussels spaghetti). Finish the meal with an Australian cheeseboard and all the trimmings.
Celebrate in Surry Hills at The Winery and Champagne Room and enjoy a 4-course set menu + Mumm flute ($120pp). Lunch is a delectable mix of tastes, including carpaccio of snapper, burrata, roasted beetroot, spelt grains, pecans and watercress, 300gm beef rump with potato purée, salsa verde and aged balsamic and to finish a ricotta and honey pie with candied orange. Book a table on the deck and enjoy your celebrations as you watch the sunset sink into the Sydney cityscape.
