Valentine’s Day: watch the stars under the stars at the Sunset Cinema Sydney

Because it’s summer and because you can, the Sunset Cinema in North Sydney has Valentine’s Day sorted.

Perched under the stars with a sweeping view of Sydney from the north, the Sunset Cinema is serving-up all the romance you need this Valentine’s Day by airing the heart-wrenchingly soppy Ghost, complete with beanbags, pop-corn and all the feels this 14 February. See the line-up here.

With pre-show entertainment and live music from Thousand Rivers, the Sunset Cinemas even offer Star Class passes which include tickets for two in an exclusive area, dinner and dessert hand-delivered to your loungers, a bottle of MadFish wine and Cobs popcorn to share. Event information and bookings here.

But if the day of love isn’t your thing, the pop-up outdoor movie experience installation is on until 24 March, with some stellar films like the romantic coming-of-age drama Call Me By Your Name, social satire Downsizing and I, Tonya with the incredible Margot Robbie that has wowed critics the world-over.

So go, get cosy in public and show them what it means to watch the stars with the stars.
