Valentine’s Day Gift Guide

I smiled,

I winked,

I have been quite a flirt.

So here’s a sweet Valentine,

‘cos you’re not too alert.

Valentine’s Day is almost upon us. Yet another commercially backed day that tells us it’s okay to spend excessive amounts of money on roses ($40 per head at last count), sweets, dinners and preparations for love-making.

Whether it’s to get noticed by a crush or express whatever feelings you have to someone you’ve already locked-down, Valentine’s Day is a sweet gesture that most appreciate regardless of whether they believe in its significance or not. So of course, the best way to avoid crucifixion by your lover is to succumb and buy something.

Good luck.
