Welcoming Thomas Sabo to Emporium Melbourne

Melbourne Emporium recently welcomed the eighth flagship Thomas Sabo store to their ever expanding repertoire. The rapidly growing brand celebrated 30 years in the jewelry business by launching their new space alongside the brands most recent Karma Collection. Thomas Sabo covers a large demographic with its unisex collections, Glam & Soul and Rebel at Heart. Despite the brand being mostly known for its beaded bracelets and Charm Club collection, it now offers so much more with their unisex collections, delicate pieces and sterling funkier pieces. Attendees of the small and intimate opening were welcomed by Phillip Edwards, the Managing Director of Thomas Sabo. Phillip gave attendees a full run down on all things Thomas Sabo, their growth over the past 30 years and also introduced us to the new brand ambassadors model Georgia May Jagger and Formula 1 driver Nick Orosberg.

Thomas Sabo really knows how to cater to the individual. The selection of charms on offer are suited to anyone from children to adults, with every letter of the alphabet, animal, flower, ballet slipper and anything else you could think of being shrunk down into a cute charm form. If cute isn’t really what your into, there is the Rebel at Heart collection containing sterling anchors, crosses, skulls and everything in between. The Rebel at Heart Collection stays true to its name, featuring some beautiful onyx stones it combines the perfect light and shade for the individual who likes something a bit different.

The Glam & Soul collection features some beautifully delicate and intricate pieces with a rose gold theme running throughout. The collection is saturated with pretty heart pendants, elegant feathers and also some beautiful turquoise Hamsa pendants. I have noticed that there has been an influx of popularity around the Hamsa lately and Thomas Sabo is firmly entrenched in the trend, adding the pieces to the collection just a year ago after realizing its popularity. The pearls, pinks and rose gold in The Glam & Soul collection clearly defines it as the prettiest and most girly collection they have released yet.

Thomas Sabo’s most recently released collection; Karma Beads is one that has developed from the brands original beaded bracelet. Alike the original beaded bracelets; the Karma Beads collection implores customers to add on as they go along. This option allows you to transform the bracelet again and again, and the options are absolutely beautiful, and endless! Just like the charms from Charm Club, each bead reflects individuality. From rose quartz to skulls, fresh water pearls and even a ying and yang bead, this collection is by far its most creative for the buyer.

The amazing thing about this brand is that it unquestionably caters to such a large demographic. Thomas Sabo prides itself on its diversity and this is reflected throughout each collection with cute charms, large pendants, delicate chains and some skulls thrown in for good measure. Each piece is extremely intricate and detailed, further confirming that the jewelry bought from this brand will forever be a piece for you to admire.
