The Vince Camuto Boutique Opening

Melbourne is in a tizz lately.

While retail seems to bomb-out in certain aspects (read: finance), Highpoint Shopping Centre has just relaunched by way of an entirely new, what they’re calling, ‘fashion precinct’ that houses international retailers such as TopShop, Zara and staple retailer David Jones.

One of these new boutique-like stores that have opened in the centre, situated conveniently enough in Melbourne’s West is the Vince Camuto shoe boutique.

Playing on its namesake’s deeply steeped history in footwear pioneering, the Vince Camuto store opening is a signal that Australia is ready to move with the times of international footwear. Taking the country over slowly, the Camuto brand is opening doors to more than ten boutiques nationally over the next few months.

After selling Nine West in 1999, Vince Camuto launched his label and then went onto collaborate with some of America’s most renowned designers, BCBG MAx Azaria, Tory Burch and Jessica Simpson turn out incredibly successful shoe collections, all with his trademark glamorous twist.

The store is open on level 3 of Highpoint’s new fashion precinct.
