The Bulgari Funding Program for the NGV

Recently, Bulgari launched the Bulgari Funding Program for NGV International Fashion Acquisitions at a gala event at the National Gallery of Victoria.

It’s been designed to fund the acquisitions of major works by leading international fashion designers specifically for the NGV, a partnership that provides an extraordinary opportunity to increase the Gallery’s international fashion collection. Something the NGV takes with great pride.

To launch the program, the NGV has acquired three major works alongside garments by Pierre Cardin, Claude Montana and Mariano Fortuny, all of which were on display and all introduced by International Fashion & Textiles Curator Roger Leong.

In a gala evening with designers such as Toni Maticevski, rubbing shoulders with artistic dignitaries, the program took to the world with great reception.

We teamed-up with Jennifer Estrada of Mirar PR to see what it was all about.
