Tella Balls Cafe Will Blow Your Mind With The New Menu
Tella Balls is the cafe that has taken over Sydney by storm. The simple concept of placing a Nutella-filled doughnut on top of a chocolate milkshake hit the spot in Sydney so well with the cafe’s founder, Aki Daikos moved-on from the cafe that started it all and created the mecca of Nutella delicacies in Dulwich Hill that people travel from far-and-wide specifically for.
Tella Balls is a conspicuous establishment right in the heart of the Sydney fringe suburb that has expanded so fast and so well, its seating arrangement spills out onto the street and attracts lines at even the quietest of trading times.
With everything from an original Nutella ball doughnut to those pumped with salted caramel, all manners of sweet tooths are easily satisfied. They’ve branched out further afield from the days of old when a milkshake with excessive sweet treats atop it were the norm, now playing with cronuts made with Kit Kat chocolate bars, Reese’s pieces peanut butter cups and a full range of pancakes and crepes.
Each item from the Tella Balls housemade creperie is made to order from batter made numerous times throughout the day. Talk about perfectionists! Pancake stacks come complete with a Tella Ball doughnut and spatterings of other sickeningly delicious toppings it goes without saying; it’s sinfully sensational.
For those less adventurous, a doughnut cone icecream with Nutella can whet the appetite, while those with a larger sense of adventure can attack the cookies & cream crepe, complete with Oreos, melted Belgian white & milk chocolate topped with a sprinkle of nuts and served with vanilla bean gelato.
This is the kind of initiative that has the potential to take Australia by storm. If you look at the successes of other Australian businesses the likes of Aki and his business partner Simon’s, Melbourne is next in-line where Tella Ball fever will take faster than the coffee culture, itself.
