Tailor make your own suit with Institchu

If you’ve been to Thailand or any other Asian country for that matter, you know how cheap it is to have tailoring done: peanuts. Nada. Zip. Nothing.
Where the West is lacking is in this exact field – cheap and affordable tailoring! Sure it exists; if you don’t mind having the clothing fall off you shortly after having it done. Nothing seems to fit the bill.
Two industrious friend, Robin and James concocted the idea of bringing this notion of cheap tailoring not only online – making it accessible to everyone – but to Australia – making it accessible to a race of people whose dollar keeps Thailand’s tailors alive and very much prospering.
See their website here and have a try. They’re onto something good.
Below is a run-down of how it all works…
SELECT YOUR SUIT OR SHIRT
Customers begin by selecting their suit or shirt from our pre-designed range or designing one from scratch. InStitchu are constantly releasing new designs to choose from and our custom design tool allows customers to add a personal touch to any garment.

CUSTOMISE
Once a garment is selected, a customer can customise it in any way they wish. For suits, options like buttons, collars, pockets and linings can be fully customised, as can options like cuffs, collars and fabrics for shirts. InStitchu allows customers to create clothing the way they want it to look.
CREATE MEASUREMENT PROFILE
Once a garment has been chosen, customers can upload their measurements to their profile – a process made easy by our step-by-step guide. A new sizing interface also allows customers to tweak standard sizes if they prefer. Customers can also have measurements copied from a suit or shirt that fits them perfectly. With the variety of ways to upload measurements to a customer’s profile, it has never been easier to shop for menswear.
