When Superdry opens its latest and greatest store in a city whose sense of style is emulated in every piece they produce, you know it’s going to be popular.
Superdry has opened in Westfield Bondi Junction to celebrate the further penetration of the Australian market by British retail brands and to emulate in brick-and-mortar format how much we can’t get enough.
The store’s fitout is typically Superdry with exposed ceilings, raw wood panels and antique lighting, which played-on and showcases the brand’s urban rustic-cool personality and day-to-day wearability.
Launching with its spring-summer collection for the coming onset of summer, Superdry’s collection featured as usual board shorts, bright pops of colour and gawdy bold prints with Japanese text and swirling branding. Very on-brand.
In-keeping with their urban element of functional wearbility and mainstream popularity, Superdry teamed with leading legends in the modern-day music scene, Flight Facilities, who treated opening night guests to an outrageous set. With food served by from new Bondi establishment, Luis Tan, it was a treat.
The Superdry store at Westfield Bondi Junction is the largest in NSW, sporting a massive 300-square metres and stocking a healthy range of the collection.
