What better way to spend time with your family or friends by eating good, simple food and relaxing with the beautiful views in front of you. You can also bring your dog along if you like, while you sit on the comfy outdoor seating arrangements or on a picnic mat on the lawn.

Starting at 2pm, you have the choice of sitting at picnic tables or on the café deck. There are picnic baskets with cheese and wine to order or a barbeque. The BBQ menu includes a fantastic variety of options for everyone. This includes rosemary and mustard crusted lamb cutlet, grilled chicken with honey mustard, grilled eggplant and crispy shallots salad with green beans and miso, puffed corn salad with rocket, tomato and salted ricotta, fermented red cabbage with kohlrabi, plus options for the kids.

Get into the mood of summer afternoons by listening to live acoustic music by Sean Marchetti and Friends (3pm-5pm) and Sunset DJ’s from 5pm onwards. Aperol Spritz is the main drink on the menu, as well as other options. Enjoy the summer sunset views on the lake as you take in the chill atmosphere.

Kids won’t be bored, with fun activities provided. This includes lawn games such as an awesome oversized chess board and a small bouncy castle. You really can’t go wrong, not to mention all the amazing photo opportunities.

Be sure to keep the good vibes flowing on New Year’s Day, with Albert Park opening its doors to a day of house and electronic music for Sunset Safari. The party spans indoor and outdoor areas of Greenfields.
