Squire Shoes

There’s a shoe brand from Sydney I’ve been watching for a while who’ve been making shoes of fine quality since inception, which makes me happy.

Their name? Squire Shoes.

Think witty puns and plays on medieval sensibilities with much more than nobler intentions and a lot better technology at their fingertips; that’s them.

They use quality leather, patented rubber, a startling combination of both subdued and vivacious prints, textures and colours and some funky styles that have made them quite noticeable to say the least. Have a look at their collections if you need to see more.

Men have long since not had an excuse to wear those god awful chisel toed loafer things they do, black runners, square toed slip-ons or lace-ups with velcro and Squire Shoes, by way of the awesome work they do, helps that along in leaps and bounds.

My newest pair from them, the Blake boot in dark tan are a comfy dress boot that works with the most tight pair of denim I have to the most washed-out selvedge. A win in my eyes.

I am an ole’ shoe-dog or ‘shoe-tragic from 50 years and I know the Squire Bros., Peter and Nick very well. I fully concur that their passion for shoes runs in their blood and it all started from their extraordinary, cobbler Dad, George. Wonderful footwear family doing Sydney and Australia proud. Keep it up guys! :)
