Safilo AW16 Showings Sydney

Safilo has launched all new ranges for their represented brands as well as their very own in-house collection, and with it have brought to us the latest and greatest in eyewear trends for the season.

Featuring brand names including Fendi, Max Mara, Jimmy Choo, Dior, Gucci, Marc Jacobs and more with a selection of glasses for both men and women and also a children’s and infants range, we were spoilt for choice when it came to picking favourites.

While each brand stayed true to their distinguishing aesthetic, there were definite features in the collections to pick as the next big trends for women.  The brands collectively featured a strong focus on rose gold and blush toned lenses, cat eye shaped frames and dainty details such as jewelled embellishments or cut-outs.

For men, brands such as Dior Homme stuck with an updated version of their classic Aviator style glasses and Hugo Boss with timeless and simple styles.

Safilo’s namesake children’s range featured adorable miniature versions of the adult frames, keeping little ones just as trendy as their fashionable parents, as well as frames with adjustable head elastics to keep prescription glasses in place for tots.

A standout feature in Safilo’s womenswear range are the interchangeable frames, allowing us to pick and choose the colour of our frames while maintaining the standard lenses and structure of the glasses by snapping on and off the custom chosen frames – a breakthrough idea for eyewear enthusiasts!

We can’t wait to see these amazing styles in stores across Australia.
