Why you need to see the return of ‘Puppetry of the Penis’
If you are looking for a light-hearted, raunchy, fun night of entertainment then this is the show for you. Provided your chill-meter is set to ‘high’.
When Puppetry of the Penis made its debut at the 1998 Melbourne International Comedy Festival it was received as the ‘Outright Best Show’ and has dominated international stages ever since. With tricks like ‘The Eiffel Tower’, ‘Loch Ness Monster’, and the infamous ‘Hamburger’, you will be amazed to see the lengths these guys’ puppets will go to.
The men behind the puppets headlining at the Melbourne Crown Palms are Barry Bisco and Rich Binning who build a great rapport with the audience and use their body to make them laugh time and time again. Setting the show at the Crown Palm definitely allows the audience to feel like they are stepping up the stairs and through space and time to the glitz of the Vegas strip.
Special mention also to Nikki Britton who warmed the audience with her hilarious observations on modern life and the antics of today’s single ladies. Nikki is playing during the Melbourne International Comedy Festival in the Ladies’ Lounge of the Forum Theatre.
Puppetry of the Penis is playing for a limited season during the Melbourne International Comedy Festival at Crown’s Palm, Melbourne and tickets are available through Ticketmaster.
