Polished Man, Sydney
Polished Man is an initiative that brings men against violence against children.
An initiative of YGAP, Polished Man is a fundraising campaign that challenges men to end violence against children, including sexual and physical violence.
This is a global problem and a reality in Australia. Men appear to be the primary perpetrators of physical violence against children, which is why the Polished Man campaign invites men to paint one nail to represent the 1 in 5 children affected by violence before the age of 18.
In a lavish affair in the newly birthed Oscar Hunt showroom in Sydney – known for their exquisite men’s tailoring – the Polished Man celebratory event took place along with a bevie of polished men.
The official Ambassadors for Polished Man 2015 included: Chris Judd, Jobe Watson, Mark Philippoussis, Michael Klim, Nathan Joliffe, Travis Burns, Waleed Aly, Ed Lower and Travis Cloke among plenty others.
