Nike Air Zoom Mariah Flyknit is bringing classic style back

Nike is kickin’ it caj style with the return of the Air Zoom Mariah Flyknit from its sports wear range, which went live on 22 June via SNKRS and at select global retailers.

The Air Mariah officially released in 1988 and set in motion a period of Nike design that pushed running cushioning to a whole new level and included two 1991 releases, the Nike Air Icarus and Nike Air Max 180. This Mariah’s white, blue and infrared colourway became synonymous with the time and a key cog to a resurgence in today’s running fashion for street wear.

So 30 years on, it’s back with a vengeance.

Though, it’s changed somewhat since day 1. It’s had an updated shift towards wearability and comfort, pairing with Flyknit bootie vibes for an easy wear, enhancements to make it more secure on your foot and super cushy cushioning to reduce impact. Nice one.
