Where to spend New Years’ Eve in Melbourne!
It’s almost the end of another year!
Are we older? Yes. Wiser? Probably not. Did some cool stuff? Definitely. Made some great choices?… Again probably not, but hey, we live and learn, right?
Fare 2016 well and welcome-in 2017 with some quality celebrations that money can in-fact buy…
The Emerson rooftop
Only 250 tickets are available this year for the NYE party to end all parties on the rooftop of The Emerson in Melbourne. At $220 a ticket the package includes full food and beverage with a substantial food offering, classic cocktails, a four hour unlimited beverage package including spirits and entertainment throughout the night.
Doors will open at 6.00pm with the unlimited beverage package running from 8.00pm – 12 midnight.
This year’s theme is NYE IN NYC with legendary John Course playing an epic 4 hour set on The Emerson Rooftop with 360 degree views of Melbourne’s Iconic city skyline + views of the fireworks at 12 midnight.
Boozy Brunch at Greenfields on Albert Park Lake
Titled ‘Under the stars’, the event comes with a BBQ canapé style menu put together from the folks at Tommy Collins / Atlantic Group, a sunset over Albert Park Lake and some of Melbourne’s hottest DJ’s, performers and a few special international acts.
The Boozy Brunch sound system includes sets from Mark John, Brad Sassman, Lana, Hamza H and Paul Muller, along with special performances by vocalists Josh Williams & Tony Kopa. Joining them direct from the USA, is house legend Duane Harden alongside new school heroes SaBaluna (Ibiza).
Tickets are $195 and can be found here.
Hopscotch Bistro and Bar, South Melbourne
They’re hosting a ‘night garden festival’ this NYE, honing-in on the good food and drink vibes that every Melburnian really wants to ring in the new year with.
It includes a five-hour food and beverage package comprising eight tap beers, basic spirits, house wines, tap cocktails & slushies. Combine that with bites, grazers, nitro ice cream & roving treats, it’s a shoo-in.
Located very close to Melbourne’s fireworks show, it’s prime position to welcome another new year. Tickets are $210 and can be purchased here.
Pure Scot at Circa Rooftop Deck, Prince of Wales
The Circa Rooftop Pool Deck will be converted to an LA style high end venue, filled with VIP booths, day beds, bars, a couple dance floors and a wonderful view of Melbourne’s skyline. Melbourne always promises fabulous weather to bring in the New Year and a brilliant sunset viewing across one of Melbourne’s finest rooftops!
