Negroni Week Is Back in 2016!

Negroni Week started off in 2013 as a celebration of one of the world’s great cocktails along with a dedicated effort to raise money for charitable causes around the world. Now in its third year, it’s back and bigger then ever!

Negroni Week comes to us thanks to Campari and Imbibe Magazine as a global week-long charity initiative focusing on the popular Negroni cocktail to raise money for local causes.

Running from 6-12 June, the celebration will see bars and restaurants across Australia take part by donating a minimum of $1 from every Negroni cocktail or Negroni inspired product sold.

A classic Negroni is a mix of gin, Campari and sweet red vermouth created by chance in Florence around 1920 by Count Camillo Negroni. The Negroni is one of many cocktails which has benefitted from the returning trend of classic cocktails, with many venues also creating their own signature take on this cult classic. Get onto it!
