MSFW: Nicola Angela

Her game is women’s occasion wear, which at first sight is noticeable with form-fitting dresses at this year’s Melbourne Spring Fashion Week, akin to the likes of a Kookai-esque aesthetic; until you’re knocked sideways by effortlessly flowing pieces that scream celebrations of the female form.

For an awarded designer in her field, Nicola Angela‘s work is worthy of the runway.

Her collections house a distinct European flavour, accentuated by her utilisation of fabrics from the continent and design elements that speak to that market.

With a range of sheer, embellishment and drapery that billowed when moved – a strong theme for the season so far – Nicola Angela’s work is as beautiful as it is impactful.
