Mr G’s Bar & Grill in Double Bay is Sydney’s New York-style must-visit

With a focus on the best steaks Sydney can offer, authentic New York style bar and grill, Mr. G’s is serving quality sourced meat, seafood and fresh produce, developed by chef to the stars, Dave Little.

Not to be confused with Sydney’s already stupendously established Ms G’s in Potts Point, Mr G’s is all about an industrial feel which features leather and brass accents alongside wood-heavy furniture and a menu that will set you off.

There are multiple spaces to wine and dine including the Lounge Room with a huge wooden bar and private dining room.

The menu is one to be reckoned with, too. Think, Louisiana Andouille of char grilled homemade veal Sausage, potato and white bean puree, blackened brussels and maple vinaigrette; Glacier 51 Toothfish with white bean puree, algae and samphire; Confit Ocean Trout Fillet with mesquite seasoning, chive and Kombu, shaved fennel and lemon vinaigrette; Spatchcock with boise bourdan, Flat Iron pasture fed steaks from Great Dividing Range and Kobe Rump served with potato gratin and a choice of Chimmichurri, Mushroom, Be?arnaise, Armagnac Pepper or Jus.

The venue even received a nomination in the 2017 Awards for Excellence for best new restaurant, Mr. G’s Bar & Grill is set to be a definite standout in the Double Bay bar and restaurant scene.

Located on the ground floor of the 5-Star InterContinental Sydney Double Bay, Mr G’s is open for dinner Monday through Wednesday from 5.30pm until late, and open for lunch and dinner Thursday through Sunday from 12pm until late.
