Monochrome Shoes

I love brunch.

Give me a long weekend and four consecutive days in which to do it; you can imagine my excitement.

For a sunny but cold and blustery Sunday, I decided to head out to a mid-morning meal with a friend, showing off some new kicks that’ve landed recently at General Pants stores around the traps. They’re the Monochrome Williamsburg Chukka in navy suede and are as comfy as the best of them.

They’re called Monochrome Shoes, a Sydney project by some Sydney shoemakers and style shakers who are making it big in the mainstream men’s shoe market. With their collection of 13 men’s shoes that have landed on the shoe racks of stores around the country, they offer a nice, affordable alternative to some of the cooler-than-cool options that General Pants stores are known to offer instead.

Made of suede, poly, leather or canvas, the shoes are actually a nice-fitting, easy-to-coordinate and cheap-to-buy piece that I’m loving throwing together with my weekend outfits.

See the other styles at General Pants here.
