MINI Garage Melbourne Movie Magic
When it comes to MINIs, Melburnians can’t get enough.
The MINI Garage in Melbourne has topped the list of top-selling MINI outlets in Australia thanks in large part to Melbourne’s awesome taste in automobiles and German engineering.
To celebrate the launch of their latest five-door MINI hatch to the city, MINI threw a lavish VIP affair and pop-up cinema at the Docklands Studios where they screened Kingsman: the Secret Service starring Colin Firth and Samuel L. Jackson.
Lavish it was, with the wonder of MINI surrounding the secluded pad of audience seating, pointed directly at an overwhelmingly large ‘MINI’ branded screen in preparation for the movie.
At the MINI five door hatch launch, the Melbourne manager director of BMW Geoff Briscoe said, “We launched the MINI five-door hatch at the end of last year and this has extended our customer base to young families and Melburnians who love the MINI brand but require the space of a four-door car”.
A lot of love goes into the MINI brand both in manufacturing and in Melbourne, all of which was well and truly on show at the pop-up cinema.
The new MINI five-door hatch offers all the stylish attributes of a two-door, but with extra room. It comes with alloy wheels, a Bluetooth hands-free phone connection, digital radio and a USB socket to connect your smartphone. MINI also offers numerous accessories that let you personalise your car, including bonnet stripes, contrasting roof colours and a Chili Pack, which brings sports seats, front fog lights, ambient interior lighting and part-leather upholstery.
