Melbourne’s Vanishing Elephant turns 1

Everyone’s favourite oxymoronic Sydney-based men’s and women’s clothing label, Vanishing Elephant, has been around since 2008; but this 2012, their Melbourne outlet that has become such a supplier of many a Melburnian’s wardrobe will turn one year old.

It was founded by Sydneysiders Arran Russell, Huw Bennett and Felix Chan in an effort to highlight the great subtleties of clothing with a modern take.

What’s more exciting is that to celebrate this milestone in their Melburnian presence, the Vanishing Elephant team will be holding weekend-long celebrations in honour of their ageing.

By providing a free gift with purchase and offering a range of alcoholic beverages with staff alongside a cacophony of celebratory musical beats in-store, the Vanishing Elephant outlet will become a buzzing hive of free stuff and alcoholism for all to enjoy.

Best get down there, this weekend only, 6 and 7 October 2012 at Shop 14, Albert Coates Lane in the QV Centre, Melbourne.
