Woolshed Hotel Docklands Melbourne THE F

Rising like a phoenix, Melbourne’s Woolshed is back in business

Melbourne is loaded with countless pubs and hotels that have achieved critical acclaim, and one of its best is back on the scene after a brief down period, The Woolshed.

It is set to reopen its doors this April, bringing the much-loved Melbourne institution to the fore of the city’s social and fashion events.

With a new establishment comes a new look, exposing its raw materials and rustic architectural design to work in harmony with the waterfront views it is known for.

The refined interior finishes and brand new event spaces such as the Harbour View Room and Mezzanine signal a change from the Woolshed as a ‘pub’ to a hospitality destination with a restaurant, bar and event spaces.

A refreshed menu from Head Chef, Catherine Kalka, will feature old favourites including a to-die-for Sticky Date Pudding, mixed with new creations such as Red Kampot Pepper Prawns plus a new signature dish – Roasted Duck and Sea Scallop Salad with Soba Noodles and a Sesame Sambal.

“We have taken the opportunity to modernise, refine and upgrade to ensure the new look Woolshed will excite and entice the people of Melbourne. We are looking forward to unveiling the new Woolshed when we relaunch our iconic Docklands venue on 21 April,” said general manager, Duncan Laidlaw.
