Lazy Raine Gumboots
Winter is here.
If ever there was an excuse to layer-up, suit and boot, it’s now; Melburnians love it and it’s obvious to see why.
Lazy Raine is one such advocate of the more you wear, the better, in that their addition to the world of footwear has seen a bit of life injected into the otherwise quite solemn wintry wardrobes of most.
Gumboots are the tried and tested wintry must-have for those in the know and those who’re as new to a town like Melbourne or Sydney, for that matter, where sometimes the wet and miserable nature of it all can ruin what is otherwise a perfectly good collection of shoes.
Lazy Raine have collaborated with an Australian artist named Claire Perrin, whose use of her signature finger painting technique with oils to create art have come to life in print form on the Lazy Raine gumboots.
From the age of sixteen, Claire has worked her magic, turning what is otherwise quite boring into something too new and exciting.
With a mix of yellows, greens and blues, the mesmerising walking art gives the humble Australian gumboot a whole new lease of life – combining the practicality and versatility of a gumboot, coupled with candid hues and stylish waves.
All the Lazy Raine gumboots are made from high-grade rubber and lined with cotton making them as practical as they are striking.
