The Langham Sydney’s new life on Kent St.

Sydney’s Langham Hotel on Kent Street has undergone a grand transformation.

The famous hotel closed its doors this year and is on-track to reopen this 2 December after its $30 million transformation, purposed to redeliver the landmark hotel as Sydney’s most exclusive harbourside address.

In true Langham style, no expense has been spared in creating the elegant harbourisde retreat and in breathing new life into its heritage history of the hotel’s standing.

Working in conjunction with one of the world’s most utmost design firms, GA Design, the Langham’s executive team and ICMG worked tirelessly to ensure every element of the remodelling was enthralled in perfection. With an aim to transcend what ‘perfection’ means in the hotellier’s market, the Langham’s intention will soon come to fruition.

Each light switch, fitting, fixture, chandelier, every piece of marble has been replaced with a more superior product to reinvent what the Langham Sydney stands for.

Alongside hand curated art by Sotheby’s, Afternoon Tea with Wedgwood, an immersive fine dining concept at Sydney’s newest offering named Kent Street Kitchen, an exclusive new day spa, five brand-new, lavish event spaces for the glitterati of the city to enjoy, plus Sydney’s largest lead-in guestrooms with Langham’s signature terraces and balconies, the Langham’s reinvention will be a grand unveiling to behold.

With other touches such as six ornate bespoke designed fireplaces across the hotel, the Langham’s atmosphere enters a new realm of finesse and luxury into something unto itself, celebrating design and detail on a new level.
