La Piadina Double Bay Sydney

There are three things you need to know about Piadinas in Sydney

Ask the guys at La Piadina Sydney what they’re about and you’ll learn three things:

  1. Piadinas are not calzones, crepes or burritos
  2. Piadinas can be for anything and served with anything else
  3. The best place to get them in Sydney is, of course, at La Piadina in either Bondi or Double Bay

Their operation at the two locations, La Piadina, is all about not only educating people about what the two gents’ who founded it grew up with in Italy, but just serving quality piadinas with quality ingredients.

A piadina is a thin Italian flatbread, typically prepared in the Romagna region, usually made with white flour, lard or olive oil, salt and water. The result? Pretty spectacular. They work with all sorts of flavours and combinations from the savoury to the sweet, serving as the perfect alternative for breakfast, lunch, a simple snack or dessert, depending on your mood.

Damiano and Fausto, the guys behind the movement, have focused their energies on finding what works best for the Sydney palette and turning it into an edgy and approachable eatery for the hungry.

See the menu and more at the La Piadina website.
