Jackson’s Toorak

By Taylor Koniw.

It was a soiree of black and white in Melbourne’s most prestigious suburb of Toorak with the official opening of trendy new bar Jackson’s, celebrating what it means to breathe new life into a sleepy corner of suburbia.

The restyled lounge bar, owned by nightclub operator Jamie Nasser, offers a plush display of exuberant décor and tastefully themed black and white walls which give nod to the clubs desire to deliver a “1960s James Bond type experience”.

Within its walls, Jackson’s offers a sophisticated and relaxed cocktail lounge and bar area which features a main bar with secluded booths and an adjoining outdoors smoking room. Plush carpet and padded walls trimmed with opulent mirrored fixtures and moody lamps placed throughout the venue added that special feeling of the fabulous and touch of class.

Downstairs, the bar presents an expansive dance floor complete with professional lighting, sound and stage facilities for those who are in the mood to dance the night away to chilled house vibes while experiencing that night club feel.

For anyone seeking a true 007 experience, they won’t be disappointed with the private Spy Room which is specifically tailored for cigar smoking and martinis – shaken, not stirred of course.

The night was well-received, with guests enjoying complimentary wine, spirits, and canapés from the host of professional and friendly staff who strived to make the night one not to be forgotten.

With high quality service, a warm atmosphere, and an exquisite attention to detail, Jackson’s Lounge Bar will have you partying with the best of them.

Jackson’s Lounge Bar is located at 8 Jackson Street, Toorak.
